Failure

Failure. A funny word. Well, I have been thinking about failure a lot and what it means. Failure isn’t about actually failing. Mistakes are lessons in itself. Like Walt Disney said, “It’s good to have failure while you’re young because it teaches you so much.” It’s true, failure teaches you what your likes and dislikes are. It teaches you where to grow and how to improve. Everything in this world, in our story is a lesson only to improve the previous day or year. The only way to look at failure as failure is if you stay down and don’t get back up to try. Recently I’ve been in a cleansing mood. I don’t mean physically cleaning, I mean cleaning out the old stories I told myself. How I’m not good enough or how I thought one thing about myself because that’s what someone else thought. However, recently I’ve been looking at my failures and becoming appreciative of them. I’ve been realizing it makes you aware that such a thing can happen to anyone. Once you've live through the worst (or what you deem the worst) you’re never quite as vulnerable afterwards. You are stronger and more present in the now. So, makes those mistakes and fail. Trust me, you want them. It means you are trying something new and getting out of your comfort zone.
